Prerequisites
Before setting up AgentMail, ensure you have:
- A PG:AI account with Agent access enabled
- An email address or inbox you want to connect
What AgentMail Does
AgentMail connects your email to the AI agent. Inbound emails are parsed, threaded, and made available as context. When you ask the agent to draft a follow-up or reference a previous conversation, it can draw from email context alongside Intelligence data.
Setup
AgentMail setup is managed at the organisation level by an admin.
Navigate to AgentMail settings
Navigate to Settings → Integrations → AgentMail.
Configure the inbound webhook
Configure the inbound webhook to receive emails.
Map email addresses
Map email addresses to PG:AI user accounts.
Test the connection
Test the connection by sending a test email. Once connected, inbound emails are automatically threaded and parsed. Attachments are stored and accessible to the agent.
Verification
After setup, verify the connection:
Send a test email
Send a test email to the configured address.
Open the Agent tab
Open the Agent tab on any account.
Verify email access
Ask the agent: “Show me recent email threads.” The test email should appear in the response.
AgentMail is early-stage. The setup process may evolve as the feature matures.
